One year of amazing cycling with young kids
On 22nd of April 2016 we unpacked our bikes in Osaka / Japan. Now 12 months later on Australia’s eastern seaboard we are looking back with wonder at many amazing experiences, inspirational encounters, wilderness and wildlife…and of course numerous playgrounds. More than 6300km of cycling in Japan, Korea and Australia along endless coastlines, over mountains and more camping than we had ever imagined. Amaya and Tayanika now love sushi, play Ninjas or dance Gangnam Style (Korea) and pretend to be Tasmanian devils speaking with an Aussi accent.
Safe travels to you all as you and your bikes head home. Now for a new adventure! We hope to keep in touch and hear what you get up to next.

I’d love to hear a recording of the kids doing their tassie devil impersonation. Do make sure you make a recording. I bet they’d love hearing that back in the future. Meanwhile I’d be tickled to hear it now. Congratulations on your huge journey. You guys are strong!
